The Week of Awesome II - Day 1 - So it Begins

I stayed up late last night to get the theme in my brain. This morning, my wife and I brainstormed some ideas on our game table. She's getting started on the artwork, while I'm setting up the project to start on some menus and game logic. Here's what my white-board game table looked like after we were done.

I'm going to keep this first entry short and sweet so I can get to work. smile.png

I'm looking forward to see what I can deliver in a week's time. Hopefully it will be more than a title screen and a quit button. biggrin.png

Good luck everyone, and I'll see you on the field of battle!

As long as your game uses the Bat'leth you will win :)

Of course I censored our awesome ideas! It's for your own protection really. My wife would hunt you down with that Bat'leth. :)

Amazing gamer's room! I even see "Smallworld" on the shelf.

I can only imagine what your game will be about ;)

Good luck, fellow competitor--the field of battle awaits, and we must answer its call!

(That is a cool game room, by the way. ^_^)

Thanks for saying so, I'm pretty proud of it. smile.png I made the game table myself and its covered with a 4' x 8' sheet of white board (actually bathroom wall from a hardware store which is only $15 a sheet, since "white board" is hella-expensive). I made the game shelves too and they're loaded with board games and RPG's. Yay Game Room! \o/

Edit: Now that the contest is over, I put up the non-blurry image. :)
