map editor
Hey hey hey, does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on how to make a simple map editor. All it needs to do is set a background (a 16 bit color), select a .bmp image and put it on the background, and save it as a .bmp image.
Any help or tutorials on this would be great, thanks!
Wheres the any key?

I don''t know about map editors specifically, but I think you can get all you need from some of the existing windows tutorials, if that''s what you need. Try going to http://www.winprog.org/tutorial/index.html
It has everything you should need on creating windows, loading images, etc. Well, I don''t remember anything on loading bitmaps manually (and that is really handy sometimes), but it should be good enough to get you going.
How much demand is there around here for a map editor specific tutorial? Or are the existing Windows tutorials enough? No offense to anyone here, I''m just curious.
