Well like the topic states "looking for a programming partner" I know a lil about C++ , I started learning sometime last year and kept learning off and on, I''m just looking for some one who is looking for some one else to code with , I have an idea for an application ( not such a large project ) and I would like to use the development of this ( with some oen else of course ) as a faster way to learn C++ , so if u a fairly new and still learning and looking for some one to learn with then , reply here or u could email me at stealth2kone@hotmail.com thats pretty much all I have to say for now if u have any questions then let me know cheers Stealth

where are you with C++?
wewhere abouts am I in C++?, well I learnt ALL the basics, functions, classes, arrays, pointers, all that but that was last year and at the beggining of this year, I started all over again just to refresh my mind but just didnt get back arround to pointers ( pretty easy ) functions ( easy aswell ) and classes ( should be easy to re-learn), anyway I can make the most basic programs , I started to re-learn "loops" ( do while etc ) so yeah I pretty much know the basics , but the whole point of all this is to learn MORE then what I already know , so yeah if ur interested then reply here or in the mail

cheers

What is it that you hope to accomplish? What are your goals? Do you want to make a game, or a Windoz application? Essentially i am asking what it is that you need a partner for. Do you need somebody to "show you the ropes?" If that''s the case, then i would like a "programming partner" too!

Hi, stealth! I've been using C and C++ for about 4 years (and a little Java and Perl, but enough horn tooting ). I also have a fair amount of Win32 experience (actually I just had a professional project published not too long ago. See the link below if you want to check it out). I'm by no means an expert in game programming, but I have a fairly good grasp on the basics (I wrote a text based adventure game with a team in my college data structures class from stratch. I also gave Star Ferret Deluxe from Andre' LaMothe's "Windows Game Programming for Dummies" book a major overhall. Link also below). I would really like to join your team and help out.

eFaces (Win32)
"Escape from Libmo" (text) and "Star Ferret Deluxe" (DirectX 7.0)

I'll email this to you too.
