comp.lang.c++.moderated server name
I know that this is a pretty idiotic question, so I will post it here.
What is the name of the server you have to configure in, say, Netscape, to access comp.lang.c++.moderated ? Or am I missing something?
TIA,

There is no *one* server. usenet is a distributed system.
Your ISP probably has a news server that provides you with all the groups (including the one you mention). Ask your ISP if you don't know what the local news server name is. It is probably something like news.myisp.com
Alternatively, you can access newsgroups via Google. Go to www.google.com and hit the Groups tab about the search field to go to their usenet group section. Here you can read old arhieves or make new posts.

This is up to your ISP. Often the server will be called news.myisp.com or nntp.myisp.com.
There are a few web-based news services, like dejanews, so if your ISP doesn''t have a news server then you could try that.
