Help. (O.T.)
I am having a MEGA PROBLEM!!!!

today, my computer started to malfunction, IE: applications start up VERY slowly, unresponding apps.
The Major problematics:
I CAN NOT RUN ANY PROGRAMS! I keep getting the Illegal operation error. Every application I try to install / run. I have totally deleted my hard drive, and reinstaslled clean, 2 times! I have no clue to what the problem could be. I installed DX8.1 OK. But everything else is an ERROR! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! ASK me any question, I am very inclined in software / hardware information, so I can pretty much answer anyones questions! I NEED HELP PLEASE PLEASE! I can''t handle this anymore! I''m stuck in 16color, no applications able to run!!!

If you''re getting those kinds of errors, your RAM might be corrupted. I''m not sure though.

Or a RAM slot/configuration might not work properly (happened to me once). If you have extra slots, then try different positions for the stick(s) of RAM.
When something similar happened to me, the computer could never be on for longer than about an hour, because the RAM would get corrupted and something would lock up, even when the computer was sitting there idle.
Another possibility is the hard drive, bad sectors on the hard drive can cause things to become corrupted. If you haven''t already, then you might want to run Scan Disk on your hard drive.

The best thing about the internet is the way people with no experience or qualifications can pretend to be completely superior to other people who have no experience or qualifications.
