dynamic vehicle sfx
I''ve been working on some vehicle sounds lately layering some real vehicles with synth sounds to get sci fi effects. The basic driving sounds loop fine, but I''m not exactly sure how to make transitions to acceleration or decceleration sound seamless. Is this more of a sound engine issue or should I do any specific fading techniques to try to crossfade the different sounds. Basically the problem is that it is a loop but there is variation within that loop which makes it rather more complicated than the standard sfx loop.
any suggestions would be appreciated

You could use just one or a few sound effects, and modulate them dynamicly. Or just crossfade...
You could modify the sounds to make it eaiser (remove that variation)
