I''m trying to do roads on a 3d-landscape in 3d studio but I can''t figure out how to get the results I want. They should be curved, not only strait and I want them to have crossings. Also the texture should follow the road. I know how to do the first two (just used lines/splines and outline) ... but I can''t get the texture coords to follow the road like this:
I could do the roads like a big texture and just draw the roads into the landscape but that''s too memory consuming. I would need a huge texture anyone know a tutorial on this maybe?

I don''t know of any tutorials, but try experimenting with lofts. Just look through the help files to figure out how they work.
