I have no clue what that translates to in $$$ over here.
The Shure 58 I''ve seen online to buy is £60+, usually a lot more.

I found one place that was £60, but lost it when I installed XP. Care to share the links? :-*
Today most of the ones I looked at at college were £85.

Damn, the ebay one finishes tomorrow and it''s up to £43. I''m going to keep shopping around.
Besides ebay there is another site where they have music/recording equipment auctions only. It''s called www.digibid.com, you can get some deals there sometimes. If I were you I''d try to find a used condensor mic(RE20, NT1/NT2) but you''d need phantom power on your input device to run it however.
