let''s say that i''m a novice (and i am ) in graphic programming and i want to learn some and be realy good at it ...which API You suggest DirectX or OpenGL?
Although this has been asked literally thousands of times and you now started a flame war, I advice you:
If you like COM (if you don''t know what this is don''t bother), then start with DirectX
If you don''t know/like COM and are also new to C/C++ or you are targetting another platform than WIN32, then start with OpenGL which is in my opinion really the easiest way to get into 3D.

Good Luck

Thanks Vaporisator,

i think i''ll start with GL.

I hope this won''t turn in to flame war!
No, it wont.

There''s an article on the topic in the Articles and Resources section. Read it instead, then read through the responses.
