Would annyone be interested in playing a game like: 3D Snake. Thinking of developing it on my large amount of spare time.. --If you look to the clouds you cant see traps--
--If you look to the clouds you cant see traps--
well, i think that would depend on what the game is like...

you didn''t really give us many details to comment on :D

Yeah, Im not really good at describing, but it will be made for pure fun, and you will be the snake in First Person. and hunt apples, and try to avoid hiting the walls or your tail.

See GLTron. Look the link up in Google. If anything, it may give you some style/implementation ideas.

Thanks to Kylotan for the idea!
Or Armagettron, I had more fun with it than GLTron because of the fact that you accelerate using tails.
...
first person snake seems cool to me

KING CLAUDIUS Now, Hamlet, where''s Polonius?

HAMLET At supper.

KING CLAUDIUS At supper! where?

HAMLET Not where he eats, but where he is eaten

How do you plan your actions in 3D snake? ie, how do you know you''re not heading into a dead end? From the first person perspective you have no idea what other snakes have done to the game board -- and whether your opponent''s tail will soon unravel clearing a path for you. This makes forming a strategy or planning ahead very hard.

I''m not sure how it would work...

a 3d snake game from 3rd person perspective (your snake can go up and down as well as left and right) might be kind of cool (but it might be too easy to escape by simply going up. the extra dof makes escape too easy...)

i totally agree. a 1st person can''t know if the apple is right behind him. or if u make a radar for that... just an idea.

I was actualy thinking on implenting a radar. But I think it has to be two of them, one from the side, and one from above
