Hello! I''ve been told that DX8/DirectMusic supports loading of WAV files with mp3 encoded data. Can anyone point me to a sound conversion tool that actually supports saving in that format? (I know it sounds stupid. But I looked at a dozen programs wo success.) Thank you for your help, Jens

you probally mean a riff mp3. basically its an mp3 with a riff data header. a quick serach on google yielded many results for what you want. now that you know what to look for, your all set.
