Good Resources for Setting

Are there any good online sources for researching a setting? Say I wanted to do a fighting game, is there any place that has a lot of information and photos of actual fighting styles, maybe some videos of real martial artists in action? Or if I wanted to do a victorian era rpg, where could I look to find pictures of period costumes or detailed location pictures? Are there any good sites available that would provide visual references to a variety of settings?
i would tell you to check out your local library, but i can totally relate to the ease and convenience of the internet.

You really should become inspired by the era, trappings, and locales of that which you wish to depict. Inspiration and fascination lead naturally to one becoming an expert in that field. Use the library. Go to the bookstore. Watch movies which depict that which you are interested in. Read novels. Go to museums. Actually go to the places which interest you. Try events. Use a camera.

Oh, and use Google as well.
