Dev-C++ Problem
Uh, in Dev-C++ whilst trying to program OpenGL using Lesson 6, I get a weird error: "implicit declaration of function int free(...)" while trying to clear the RAM. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Hummm....Get a better compiler
I dont know what to tell you, i haven''t used DevC++ since i started programming. I found it very inadequit as the more advanced i got. It wasn''t bad for the first few programs. My best advice:
1: Buy a brand name compiler
2: Switch to linux, get it for free
and learn to actually program. (microsoft has spoiled us with all these libraries)
3: Download a full copy of Microsoft Visual Studios for free, although im sure it would take a while, but i know its out there.

The function isn't declared, you probably haven't included some header.
And if you wan't that free and not so legal copy of MS Visual Studio, use Kazaa (That's where I got it from, the enterprise edition off course).
