What's the best FREE c++ compiler for windows?

why don''t you just fill out the forms? it''s not THAT hard (name, email, et cetera)... and borland sends you stuff (they just sent me an invitation to borcon 2002; maybe i can get my boss to pay for me to go)...

bangz - the AE of VS.NET isnt out just yet - should be any day now. If you''re in the US, I believe there are some online sites specializing in AE''s of popular software.

Mingw is the best free compiler IMO. Dev C++ is just an older version of it with a buggy IDE and wierd tabs, Borland C++ is good as well but I prefer mingw.

A good text editor is PFE search for it on google.
