What''s a good book to learn C++? I know C very well and I''ve never felt the need to bother with C++, but if I''m going to at all keep up with the gaming community, I suppose I ought to learn what most companies prefer to use -- which seem to be C++. Are there any books that are absolute must haves?
Must haves?
The C++ Programmign Language Special Edition, Bjarne Stroustrup. However, it''s probably not the best choice if you are just starting with C++.

You can get the free electronic book Thinking in C++, by Bruce Eckel from http://www.mindview.net/Books . It covers all the language beginning from the very basics.
