Hi, im relatively new to 3d but i know that in a low poly world, good texturing really pays off. So i would like to know if any of you could recommend a good book on texturing, related to a tool or more abstract like. Thanks in advance
Digital Painting & Texturing:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0735709181/qid=1013141799/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_7_1/002-2461980-1910423

It covers several tools, but looks at the task from more of an artistic point of view rather than technical one.

Honestly, I just started reading it so I can''t give a full review, but just flipping through the book convinced me that I wanted it.

Thanks, i was looking for something like that. The tool (photoshop, Gimp, deep paint, etc) is easier to learn than to know how to conceptualize an idea of what you are trying to accomplish.

Regards
