Hi there! At begining I need to tell you that I''m a newbie...and now my problem: I have Athlon 1.3 GHz with GeForce 2 MX but all my OpenGL programs are in fullscreen 640x480x16 VERY slow (about 8-10 FPS) when I use textures and bilinear filtering.I do not (yet) use any gl extensions. So please tell me, how can I use a hardware acceleration instead of slow software mode ? I didn''t find anything about it.No EASY example or tutorial.I just need to tell the computer to use my 3d card instead of procesor...On my old computer (Cleron 333+Voodoo) I''ve made a trick! The part of Homeworld demo is file OpenGL32.dll file and when I copied it to my prg it has been rendered by my Voodoo card! If you know something like this let me know. And if you know ANY way to do what I want...let me know too! THAX for your time ! lanman@email.cz
www.glsetup.com, update your drivers. Make sure you have no custom gl dll''s in your projects directories or you will continue to get bad results.

CAN''T YOU JUST STICK TO ONE POST PER FORUM?

God... I hate people who think they can fill an entiry forum with 1 post so they get quick response...
Subotron - Tell me honestly, is the problem that you aren''t sure if you are really seeing doubles? Perhaps it is your self-assigned purpose in life to save as much hardrive space all around the world as possible...

Or maybe you just love to flame.

Lanman - Atronic has the right idea, if you are using old files for GL then it won''t be able to evaluate your video cards capabilities correctly, and will then use a software emulator just to make sure it doesnt damae anything.

I''m not sure what you just said but you think it''s a good thing to post one question a lot of times so the forum gets really filled up so the other topics won''t have a chance?

It''s rather annoying if you ask me
