How can I make Max4 communicate with Poser4?
Well, the thing is that... Poser is fine and all, but the props should better be made in other program. I use Max. Lets take an example: I create an armor in Max, and export it to 3ds format (poser supports *.3ds, not *.max). Then now how can I use it as a "working" prop in Poser. I did put the file in library, and can select it there, and add it to scene, but how can I animate that armor together with moving unit? So that it would work like blouse prop put on the model, which also animates together with it, how can I animate that armor with the model, like when bending the figure? I really need help on this one, I just cannot figure this out...

There are some good tutorials around the net, none of which I have bookmarked at the moment (rats), but here''s a summary:
Poser uses the obj format for most items, so if you want to add joints then you''ll need to convert your 3ds to an obj format. Poser can export obj, I assume Max can.
2nd, you need to make sure the object is broken into separate groups for each part.
Then set up a hierarchy file for the parts. There are a few pieces of freeware around to help.
Then import the hierarchy file to create a CR2.
I think most of this is in the manual, but it''s been a whlie since I''ve had to refer to it. Check google for ''poser tutorials'' and you should find what you need pretty quick.

Oh, I forgot.
You prolly also need to edit the joints in the joint editor at the end.
