Good version management system?

Does anyone know of a good version management system for Windows, like CVS, that will merge your changes to the code database when you check in, and update your code when you check out? CVS doesn''t have any decent Windows servers, and Source Safe costs $. Any suggestions? Deconstructor penfan@telerama.com "Ever stop to think, and forget to start again?"

Try http://www.cvsnt.org for an NT based CVS server. It''s been very stable for me(running it on a Win2K box), and it works pretty well in conjunction with either WinCVS or TortoiseCVS(integrates CVS functionality into Explorer - I love it).

I agree with Arild. I''ve been using CVS for NT for a while now, and it''s been running flawlessly. No complaints whatsoever.
