Glow Effect
Hi.
I am here to enquire as to how the good old glow effect is accomplished. All games seem to have a glowing something-or-other, be it a sword or an energy bolt, but how is this done?
Thanks in adavnce,
Dachande

There is a tutorial from Mark Kilgard which describes Halos in OpenGL.
I''m not sure this is what you want since there is many ways of makins glows.
Could you describe a little bit more what effect you look for ?
At best, could you give a screenshot of something cool you already saw about this effect ?
