Hi Well, it's as the subject says..., if you are interested you can check it here : www.cfxweb.net/~projectfy/index.php , under projectfy. You can test it in two ways, multiplayer with a friend over the net or in a Lan(8 players top) , or in single player. Essentialy you can walk in the map, shoot some bots, or shoot your friends in multiplayer. In any case, please have the time and post or e-mail what you like/dislike fps and bugs The gui system is not fully funtional, so you won't be able to enable features in there, so just push the console and type the commands mentioned in the web page. It has been tested in WinME/WinXP Gf2/Gf3 thanks.. Bruno Edited by - Bruno on January 16, 2002 5:03:51 PM
Tried this last time you posted - wouldn''t run on my machine. This time it worked fine - progress!

Pretty impressive but there were a few issues.

1. Movement is SLOW - I think this was mentioned last time you asked people to test it.

2. FPS counter seems off. It seems to jump between vastly differing values even when you aren''t moving.

3. Occassionaly possible to look through terrain, on steep slopes at least.

4. An option to invert the mouse would be nice (so that moving the mouse up makes you look upwards and vice versa)

5. Occasionally you can see the terrain change shape as you move.

I''ll try it when i get home.

Did you write your own networking layer or did you use DPlay?
Seems to work rather well. Everything enabled, highest res., 32 bpp. No FSAA, no ansitropic filtering.

Inside: 60 - 100 fps, around 80 most of the time. Drops to 45 when you stare into the "mirror-floor".
Outside: 100 - 170 fps

With quincunx FSAA:

Inside: 50-70 fps, usually around 60 fps
Outside: Around 70 fps (didn''t walk around a lot though...)

Windows 98
AthlonXP 1600+ (at 1491 MHz, 142 FSB - need more cooling!!)
256 DDR, Soltek SL75-DRV2 (KT266A)
Leadtek GF3 Ti200 (modestly oc''d to 220/500)

@Steffan Thanks
Thanks for testing it
And yeah, Hawknl is used to deal with the network code.
