Fonts
Hi all,
Although there are plenty of tutorials by Nehe on fonts, I still have a problem.
I am trying to make a 2D game (for the moment) and I want to print text on it. I used the examples with the Font bitmaps. But when I print those their background stays black, right on top of my graphics
So, how can you tell OpenGL which color of a texture is transparent?
Or do I need to add an inverse texture of the font bitmap like in tutorial 21?
Or do I need to use CreateFont() as in tutorial 15? (Personally, I think it's too platform dependent, but if that's the way to go)
