I have been writing music for many years now and I have recently been getting interested in film scoring and writing music for games. Does anyone have any tips or resources to help he get started and find some work? Links, tips, companies...whatever you can come up with to point me in the right direction.

I think first of all you should establish a webside. I got my first commercial projects over my side. You should also try to do some music for hobby projects like a UT/Halflife Mod or something else.
