well.. you can post a reply if you know o by the way, ****.a is the linker file for Dev-C++, unlike ***.lib for almost every other compiler i know of.. well iguess you would know this if you knew where to get the file...... ..I still dont get the difference between c and c++... *.a files that I know of are libarys for *nixs (Linux, Solaris, ect) I have never heard of Dev-c++ but if it ueses *nix type libarys check out http://www.mesa3d.org Sorry that I could not be more helpfull.
