My only suggestion, make the "Begginers start here" button on the main page REALLLY big, I mean real big, have it flashing probably.

Brad hit the nail on the head here. I''ve said the same thing many, many times myself. The whole reason we have this site is to help people, so I don''t mind answering newbie questions AT ALL. But if beginners would take these steps, it would make life easier for everyone, especially them.
deadlinegrunt also has a good point with checking the past year. There is an amazing wealth of information contained in the almost 20,000 posts to this board. Heh, even though, as he said, many of those are the same topics repeated.
