truespace 1 freeware
In another post on this board someone mentioned truespace 1 freeware. Is that available off the ''net? Where would I be able to get it from? Thanks.

Hi!
You can get trueSpace 3 S.E. for free, from one of the recent issues of Computer Arts Special. As far as I know there shouldn''t it matter that it''s the "S.E." version.
You can buy back issues of Computer Arts from www.computerarts.co.uk - and it''s a great magazine.

This is the version I recently started using. I can thoroughly recommend it, especially at the price of the magazine. You will also find plenty of material libraries and plug-ins on the internet to expand its capabilities.

You can also get the Truespace 3 SE off of the Computer Arts Special Edition number 6. I could not find the February/2000 issue of Computer Arts in my area (the issue with Truespace), but a couple of book stores had the Special Edition.
Why none of the stores had the February issue and several had the Special Edition I can''t figure(?).

Thankyou Anonymous Poster! I downloaded truespace 4 demo a while back but I couldn''t save in it and didn''t have a spare $800 or so to buy it... so i guess version 1 will have to do for now. Thanks again!
