Hello everyone. I am from Turkey. I don't know how the game development industry is in your country. But do you think the game development industry will still continue? I need to find a job for myself and I want to choose this job. Does it have a promising future? Artificial intelligence or something?

The game industry will continue.

The industry's future is uncertain, but that doesn't mean the industry is dead.

Your final question is not articulated well enough to answer.

Which game industry job are you thinking? Programming? Art? Design? Audio/music? Management? Since you don't live in the USA where our newly elected government is making college education affordable only for the wealthy, you can get a degree in your chosen subject.

A.I. might become a major part of game development, but bots are not going to decide to make a game and raise money for marketing and distribution all by themselves. People are still going to be necessary in the development of games. Go for it.

I totally get where you're coming from. I've been watching the game industry evolve for a while now, and honestly, it’s still buzzing with creativity and opportunity. While AI is definitely making its mark—helping with tasks like content creation and design—it’s not taking over the creative side of things. People like you, with passion and unique ideas, are irreplaceable.

Whether you're drawn to programming, art, design, or any other part of game development, there's a spot for you. I’d say follow what excites you most. Keep learning, build your portfolio, and connect with others in the field. Even if you're based in Turkey, the internet makes it easier than ever to find global opportunities.

Stick with it, trust your instincts, and keep pushing your creativity. The future of game development is bright, and there’s plenty of room for new talent like yours.

Good luck on your journey!
