Hello, I'm a 50-year-old veteran gamer of many genres and experienced writer and musician. I suffered a brain injury 13yrs ago and the project I was undergoing continues to suffer now I'm looking to learn to develop small programs in order to break into the game development world more as a retiring Hobby in the next decade. With hope I can meet some people in my area interested in a science fiction nonfiction fantasy Adventure project. Dse73r@gmail.com
Grand project too big for beginner

Was that posted in the wrong area.
Yes, you originally posted it in the Game Design forum. But it's in the correct place now. Hobby Project Classifieds is the forum for recruiting hobby teams.

Are you looking to join a project, or recruit help for an existing project? Also do you have any programming or art skills.
@undefined II would say I'm at the learning phase I don't know programming I want to learn coding been looking at udemy for beginners see what I can pick up on. Always been an idealist, with a vastly creative imagination. Started a writing project which became rather large a story for a solo artist after a major injury and would benefit from a new format to tell this story. I would love to pitch my idea but I believe it's a great idea and wouldn't want any of it to be gleaned by anyone else.

You should have a look at the other postings in Hobby Project Classifieds. You'll see that there are a lot of great ideas, way more than there are willing volunteer programmers. Also see https://sloperama.com/advice/idea.html and https://sloperama.com/advice/lesson31.html

Nobody is going to steal your idea. But if you want to protect your idea, see https://sloperama.com/advice/lesson39.html for ways to go about that.
Consider joining someone else's team to learn about the process. Have a look at the other postings in Hobby Project Classifieds (scroll up to the top to see the link).
