Want to exercise those rusty programming fingers? Want to spend 3 days of madness developing a new game? Want to pull your hair out trying to implement 3 different rules from a host of categories?

Then TINS 2022 is right for you! TINS Is Not Speedhack - which means it's not the same old speedhack experience. It's 3 grueling days of hack a thon to produce a game and compete for prizes at the TINS store.

View the website here : https://tins.amarillion.org/news/

Competition is from Aug 5 to Aug 8 - that gives you 3 weeks to put together some basic code and get ready for the hack a thon of your life!

Every year, we draw random rules from a database. Last year, the rules were:

genre rule: Humoristic/Funny. Make the player laugh out loud at least once by funny situations, dialogue, or anything else in your game.

artistical rule: Inspired by MC Escher

artictical rule: The game should contain a plug for another program or thing you made.

technical rule: Hexagonal - something in the game must be hexagonal

Bonus rule: you may skip another rule if your code contains automated test coverage (integration or unit tests).

So that's a challenge, right? Here's a video of all the submissions we got last year:

So far we have 14 participants! 10 days to go to polish your frameworks. 3 days to implement 3 rules. Prizes, glory, and more!
