Hello!

I'm working with a group of people on a game inspired by Danganronpa series.

I'll try to compare my project to the mentioned series - please, tell me if it's still legal.

Danganronpa:

- 16 students wake up in the school building

- they are forced to kill each other by the stuffed bear.

- every student has special abilities called “ultimate talent”, which makes them the best in what they do.

- they are being recorded and transmitted to all people around the world by tv

- there was a big catastrophe in the outside world, almost everyone died

- the mastermind is one of them

- there is one main protagonist and player controls him

- when the murder takes place, students have to make an investigation

- they have to vote for the right culprit

- if they vote wrong, everyone is dead

- if they vote right, only the killer is dead

- despair as the main game motive

My project:

- 9 people of different age wake up in the theatre building, another 9 people wake up in a different place, 1 detective man is trying to solve their kidnapping case from outside

- they are all (besides of detective) forced to kill each other by stuffed dove & crow

- everyone is really good at what they do, but they won't be assigned to one role - they would be able to choose one of them

- they are being recorded and transmitted on a special website

- the outside world is normal

- the mastermind is one of them

- there are 3 protagonists, the player controls all of them

- when the murder takes place, students have to make an investigation

- one of them have to choose the right culprit

- if he chooses the wrong one, the culprit can leave

- if he chooses right, the culprit is dead

- despair as the main game motive

Also:

- the almost identical art style

Thank you!
