Ok…

So I have a question…

I have 0 (zero) coding abilities… but what I do have, is a very special set of skills… joking.

Now seriously, what I do have, is an idea…

I kind of doubt in my ability to execute it… so my question, is it possible to pitch the idea to people who make games (like some of you)?

Is there an acceptable practice or way to do it?

Thank you….

Yes. Just start a blog or some forum posts and start discussing your ideas and refining them into a solid design ?

But if you mean “can i sell my idea to a business” or “will someone make my idea for free and then give me some of the profits”… no, that doesn't happen.

Why not?

Because there's a lot of money at risk. Read these:

@Tom Sloper Thank for your reply… but let me ask you something else.

The second link talks about copyrights…. can I copyright an idea for a game?

@Tom Sloper it's not very clear from your links… some say it is possible, some say it's not.

What's possible may not be very likely. The odds are against you. But that doesn't mean you should give up your dreams. You just have to pursue them in a way that recognizes the hurdles before you.
