Quixel to Support NVIDIA MDL

Quixel has announced support for the NVIDIA Material Definition Language format (MDL). NVIDIA's vision with MDL is to allow a single material definition across multiple applications, renderers, and real-time engines. MDL materials define the behavior of light at a high level. Different renderers and tools interpret the light behavior and create the best possible image, whether it's an OpenGL-based application or physically based renderer like Iray.

With Quixel, now Megascans assets in MDL format allow developers to seamlessly and reliably transmit material data across 3D programs and renderers.
