You received 1 down-vote. That's not "you guys", that's "one of you".
There is nothing wrong with us being critical of your posting skills. You've been told a number of times how to improve your posts and questions -- at some point you need to realize people being critical isn't us being mean, it's you ignoring advice and rules.
What have you been told (many many many times) to do when you have an error?
Hint: Is it "paste your code and say it doesn't work without including the actual error message, and never ever try googling the error yourself to understand the problem"?
Hello to all my stalkers.

I downvoted these posts last night. It was me. I'm tired of you posting non-questions like they were questions. The post where you actually said you had a valid question and then made a statement ( the thanks tom post) was the straw that broke the camels back. I'm not trying to dissuade you but I will continue to downvote your forum posts that have to be logically deduced.
🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂<←The tone posse, ready for action.
Programming is about telling a computer what to do.
But one could also look at it this way:
Programming is about asking a computer what to do.
Now, consider the following: Since you repeatedly have problems asking questions (at all) in a natural language, could this be the reason you have so much trouble learning to program, i.e. using a formal language ? I think your problem is more fundamental.
No offence intended, but after all this very long time running in circles, if you still want to progress, I seriously recommend getting professional help (a logopedist seems suitable here, also see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speech-language_pathology)
There's dyslexia, dyscalculia, so there might be something like "question impairment".
If you take this step, make sure to show your therapist some of your threads. A specialist might see the problem on the spot.

I reversed your downvotes.

I don't recommend doing that.

I wish you the best in finding out whatever issue you have and hopefully resolving it as you seek assistance from a professional. I would strongly suggest talking about the possibility of continuing with a professional as well based on whatever conclusion is brought forth if any. I understand you want to keep programming and have been for a long time, but it's going to be a frustrating experience for you until you either resolve the problem that is causing you to struggle so much, or just facing the possibility that this isn't for you and move on to other things. Life is too short to keep banging your head against a brick wall over and over, and I'm shocked you've remained doing so for so long.
Let us know how things work out. Good luck.

We don't know Phil's story and it is not our place to ask or speculate, especially if only to guard against deception.
