Hello, community.

Half of my free time I'm spending on electronic music. Also I'm a big fan of video games.

I have a old mind to try self in video games OST production.

In this topic I putted some demos to ask You:

1. Is it worth my time to regroup for games soundtracks?

2. You see potential for music of games production or not?

My demo tracks:

Thank You for the answers.

Hi !

Good job, i like your style! i'm not a pro in electronic music buy it sounds great, you create interesting mood that could fit with some of video games. I Don't know if you composed these tracks thinking about a video game, but that could be a good idea to try. Pick different  event and try to compose directly to express a fight, a cinematic, a transition between 2 moments,  or i don't no what, just to try to compose for a specific mood. It helped me a lot. After that, if you want co compose fo video games, just do it :)

Your tracks are well produced and have some nice vibes to them. My only tip is to consider adding a few other styles/genres. When composing for games professionally, it's very common to be asked to write in a number of different styles and approaches. If electronic music is your only approach, then you'll be quite limited. So explore other styles and see what you feel you can learn/take on. A caveat - no one can be a master of all styles, so don't put that kind of pressure on yourself. Instead pick 2-4 styles that work for you.

The other thing is to work on different moods. Most of your work here is groovy, serious in tone. Could you compose for a cute, cartoony video game? With the demo reel presented, it's hard to know if you could. So also see what moods you can do well too.
