Return of the strike-out feature in editing posts?

In the editor used to write a new post, there is the "strike-out" feature, the "S" with a horizontal line through it, to denote some text is to be skipped.

In the editor to edit a posted message, this feature is missing. It seems to me that would be the place to have such a feature though, could that return?

It's there, although the toolbar changes with the size of the editor (and size of the window), so if you don't see it that's likely the problem. The S next to the U.

I don't know what kind of screen is expected by the site, but

This is literally the width of my browser screen, it's around 1500 pixels wide (post is in the "GOAP" topic in Artificial Intelligence). As you can see it's not here. Screen is 1920 pixels wide, but I hate full-screen windows.

So you say I must buy an even wider monitor? How on earth is an owner of a 1280x1024 screen going to do this?

I was playing around with the resolution of one of my laptops (My browser was not at maximum, width extended to just about 90% of the screen)

1366X768  strike visible

1280X720  strike visible

1024X720  strike disappears  (edit: my bad, it disappears here too)

800X600  strike disappears

can't help being grumpy...

Just need to let some steam out, so my head doesn't explode...

Ok, I see. Wasn't clear that it's post edits only.

Looks like the button will fit, so I've added it.

Have the same problem with the smiley icons, can only find it when I extend the browser into other screens. My screens are 1600*900.

What about a drop down menu that holds the icons that are hidden by the scaling?

And then it seems to depend on editing first post versus further down, or perhaps on forum.

Anyway, it's back, thanks!
