I just blew up a power supply.

The new one I bough, same brand, is "auto" voltage or whatever its called.

The model I blew is out of line.

The whole different plug format + different voltages is a fucking nightmare...

Wireless electricity will solve it all, why is it taking so long?

Last time we tried that we ended up with several dozen dead Hugh Jackmans :(

I strongly recommend AGAINST messing with your PSU.

You clearly have not enough experience to deal with it (start with something smaller if you want to learn).

Tinkering with PSU's internals can result in you getting an electric shock, the PSU catching fire (literal), or ending with a PSU that appears to work but delivers poor quality energy to your motherboard, damaging your motherboard and hard drives on the long run.

Your PSU delivers energy to all of your system components. If it's not working right, it can damage any of them.

Yeah, it's got mains voltages inside it and very large capacitors. If it's broken just replace it.
