Yup, it takes a lot of server processing power to run LaTeX.

I'm sure you know this, but just in case you or others were unaware, LaTeX strings are detected client-side and sent to the mathjax CDN for processing, the website does not render it itself. The only "impact" LaTeX has on the site is the mathjax header in the html source code which is handful of bytes.

Sorry, it was a bad joke.

I am wondering if the solution I posted above is good enough... Maybe it will be more dependent on the Kerr-Newman metric, rather than just on the outer horizon radius.

Anyone have any experience with black holes?
