Hi! I''m currently trying to export an animated character (with bones) from 3ds max4.2 to a .x file (directx) so it can be used in a game. The problem I''ve got is that the bones are showing in the game engine and the skinning doesn''t seem to be working... Does anyone know how to get rid of them but to keep the animation...? (BTW, I''m using polytrans to convert the .3ds file into .x) Thanx in advance bye thibcour@noos.fr
Use instead 3dsconv (came in the dx8 all-big sdk).

Thanx for the answer, but already tried, and it apparently doesn''t support bones animations, neither are the others btw...
So, if anyone has another solution...!
