The thing that puzzles me most is why is every single graveyard full with the walking dead. Can't anyone, for once, find peace? And where did that animated skeleton carry the 12 gold coins it dropped? Not nearly as funny as a bat dropping a longsword, though.

Slightly off topic: why is it when you fight an enemy, he's immensely powerful. But then when he joins your party, he's weaker than you???

SuspensionOfDisbelief :) If a player plays a jRPG and finds chest troublesome he is breaking the agreement between the player and the designer (since jRPGs are supposed to have these chests).

Sure, sure, it does not apply to all genres, still, I think it's worth mentioning. Games are not Life. Some level of suspension of disbelief is required, because, no matter how hard the designer tries, a game will be just a simplified model, not the real thing.

A bat dropping a longsword? is that a reference to a game? I know in Dark Souls 2 you can get a zweihander from killing...a spider... lol
