Windows 10 - slow boot up compared to 7

Windows 10 is booting up very slowly for me. Has anyone experienced this issue? It's not a hardware issue for sure and I even scanned my PC for viruses and adware (Yea, they were there but now they are removed by them. Plus, I installed graphic drivers for my GTX 970 and still it hasn't shown much improvements.)

On my laptop (i5 Win7 Pro), I did the upgrade just so I could get the Windows 10 key. Then I did a full clean install. The boot increased dramatically, but I would probably say the biggest impact it had was finally getting rid of the bloatware and junk (as others mentioned before) that had piled up over the years. Never had bothered with it in Windows 7. So far, I've been pretty happy.
