If a book inspires you to learn, and you think it is well written and covers what you want to learn, then that book will definitely help you.
What I think is a good book will not necessarily be a good book for you.
If a book makes you excited, then that book is good.

I agree with all of that. There are so many different writing styles and learning methods out there that you really just have to know what suits you best.
Yeah, sometimes you will blow money on a book that ends up being shitty, but if you do your due diligence and look at the sample excerpts you can really reduce the number of times that happens.
