Awesome. Knew about many of them, but quite a lot of stuff I didn't know about. Definitely bookmarked and greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much. Btw. you can subscribe to the list to get instant notifications.

Could you rearrange this so that it is more like <category> (new page) (list) ?

The link you gave was very slow to load.

Audacity - free sound / music editor with recording capabiilities

Wood Workshop - free wood texture maker ( very good )

Gentex - free 'genetic' seamless texture generator ( good for abstract textures )

Imagelys Picture Styles - free to 'try' forever - very good at making seamless textures from an image

Google Sketchup - 3D engineering and architecture modeling tool

OpenMPT - Useful if you use a lot of old fashion multi track music files.

I'm working along with the Zeef people to improve the page loading times and to find a way to organize the sections in a better way. I'm also adding your links :) Thanks!

Blender is missing from the list, and I think this wonderful site would be a nice addition. Maybe a list of IDEs (moving your Eclipse entry)?

I almost had a heart attack hahaha, Blender is in the list in the "3D Modeling" section smile.png

I must have missed it. Don't have a heart attack on us, who will maintain this in your stead?

Very nice list, I've shared it a few places.

You need to add Tutorial Sites to the list though ;)

You're absolutely right, if you have any suggestions I could design the banner for thr block and start adding :)

I decided to add my own bookmarks here. It's not nearly as comprehensive and barely organized, but i thought you might find some useful links in there.

- Screen Recorder -

Bandicam - This screen recorder is able to record windowed applications that many other recorders are unable to. Is able to export in a few different codecs. Has build in p-i-p webcam mode .

I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me.

Don't remember who on here shared this with me, but add LICECap. It's a capture program that captures in .gif format. Very handy.

Thanks! It's been added.

It was already in the list under the "Screen Recording" section.

Sorry. Did a search on the page and it didn't show.
