loading lightwave 6.5 objects

Hi. Does anyone know how to load objects & scenes build with lightwave 6.5 into an opengl prog?

I''m by no means an expert - and this probably doesn''t help you but-- we are using LW for our models and animation. But it turned out to be (after exhaustive searches for LW loader code - and us deciding not to write one) easier for us to convert the LW objects and animations to MD3 format from MilkShape and use the plentiful code and free examples on how to load and animate MD3 models...

LW then is just used to do all the source media creation and MD3 the realtime format we''re using - textures and everything we transferred o.k. from milkshape btw.

Check out this site. It contains information on the fileformat for Light wave after version 6.x.

There is an older version of the fileformat that does not contain texture coordinates and you had to calculate them yourself.
