Hey guys,

I'm following this forum for quite a while now and today I finally decided to register to be part of this awesome community. However, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself a little first.

I live in germany and I currently study computer science. I'm very interested in game and especially graphics programming. A few years ago I wrote a small rendering framework with some basic lighting and particle effects. Sadly, when I wanted to port it from DirectX 9 to 10 (or maybe 11 ) I got stuck, lost interest and finally stopped working on it.

For my bachelor thesis I had to work with WebGL and I find the idea of having real-time 3d graphics inside your browser very cool. I currently expirement a little more with it and if I someday have something cool to show, I will share it with you. Or maybe I will write a blog or journal to document the process (if anyone is even interested ).

But that's enough from me. Basically, I just wanted to say hello to the community!

Welcome. I've recently been playing with WebGL myself. I think it is a great way to play with ideas and try new stuff.
