That's awesome though I wonder what "ready to play with no fuss on modern operating systems" means. Even Tim Schafer had to play his games emulated via ScummVM.

I would pay an absolutely immoral amount of money for an updated X Wing / TIE Fighter / Alliance with modern graphics.

Throw in decent HOTAS and Oculus support and I'd probably sell my house....

If you're unfamiliar with GoG, they wrap the games in emulators for you (usually DOSBox), with the latest game patches (if any), so it's basically click once to install, wait two minutes, click the shortcut to run, and hey, you're playing. Even Steam does that nowadays with some earlier games, wrapping them in DOSBox for you. Usually, it's pretty hassle-free, though occasionally you have to finagle with things.

I would probably rebuy Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire if they had it. That was my first real videogame growing up (the N64 version).

I second this.

TIE Fighter and X-Wing: Alliance, lots of great memories there.

Ah, I suspected something like that. I believe Sierra did something similar with their adventure packs. Thanks.
