It's a lot better now. The opening track is instantly catchy and well-crafted and it makes you want to listen to more. Nice work!
Nice work! Every click another song. When listening to the whole thing, the shortness of each piece left me wanting for more, but not in a way that I felt I couldn't hear enough. That's good!
Thanks a lot, guys. Every opinion from people who work on this field is very important for me!
Hey,
The music sounds pretty good! The MIDI saxophone had me cringing but that's mostly because I'm a saxophonist myself. When you can, consider hiring live soloist for key spots in your music. It really helps raises the overall production value!
Thanks,
Nate
Thanks for the input, Nate! I agree with you, the ideal would be to arrange at least some players for instruments that have an important role in the song (like the sax on that one) and I really wish I could hire a soloist, but unfortunately money is short, even more in the place where I live. This is even worse at the beginning of the career where everybody wants you to work for them for free. But I sure will hire some soloists as soon as I can, it really makes a great difference! As CCH said, horns are specially hard to do some justice with MIDI.
