So I live in Georgia and my mom lives in Florida which if you aren't familiar with the distance, is about 375 miles from me give or take. She won't be able to visit me for Christmas so she decided to send me my gift early which was a brand new gaming laptop which I received a few days ago btw and I LOVE it! Anyways I just figured I would post the rest of my Christmas list for this year and see what you guys would like this year. I know it is a little lame but hey I still get excited at Christmas and I probably always will. Not just because of the gifts but just the all around happiness and family time that comes with it.

Ha, I agree with Orymus3. At a certain age, a christmas list becomes a little obsolete (but never totally?). My xmas list pretty much comprises things I'd like to buy for myself, but feel too guilty to purchase most of the year. So, around christmas, I splurge and buy myself something nice (but usually semi-practical and needed), and then give it to my spouse to wrap for me She's bigger on surprises, but I'm not a big fan. So, I surprise her with a gift and then buy myself one (though, she'll usually surprise me with something small and thoughtful)

Anyhow, on the list for myself this year is likely a new motherboard and CPU. I've procrastinated upgrading for about 3 years now as the new generations have been a little underwhelming and I haven't had much of a need. I haven't narrowed it down to which specific parts yet.

However, my real christmas list is comprised of the occulus rift dk2. So, if anyone is feeling super altruistic...

My list summed up:

- A new wallet (mine is coming apart)

- Another external HDD (I'v at 5 TB, but one can never have too much external storage / backups)

- Fix my PS3's Blu-ray reader... scratch that, my fiancé surprised me early and fixed it this monday... damnit!

- I'm really not imaginative about what I want... I tend to just buy it if I really need it, which, according to my fiancé, makes me a very boring person to give gifts to :P

I'm to the point I buy my close family gift cards, and do not expect anything in return.

I do not think I have made a "list" since I was a young kid back in the 80's .
