Same ISP though...

How can you tell?

Same ISP though...

How can you tell?

Secret mod powers.

Also, said ISP's endpoint is just 2km from this studio's address...

Whoa now, we're getting into stalker territory here. Better lock the thread while the lockin's good.

Just for the record, an indie studio near me presented at PAX just fine. In fact, it was a smashing success for them.

I suspect the OP is just sour grapes because they just didn't have the due diligence necessary to follow through on any admin issues. That's their problem/fault, not PAX's. There's no systemic conspiracy going on :P They fucked up and now they're just trying to redirect the blame away from themselves for whatever reason.

Exactly.

I know several devs that made it to PAX, and had success, and they didn't have to bleed for it. It's just a matter of understanding how events work, making proper followup and crossing fingers (a bit). Nothing inherently magic or cruel about it.

If I were the boss of the company, I'd remove and rewrite the first page of the rant. It is highly inappropriate and just reveals their own naivete.

Looking at the signature from the blog post it appears that the writer is the boss of the company.

Hello,

Just for fun - it seems that they created and article about name of indie game.

So now you can totally check if its the same ISP or no.

It was posted (by the OP of this thread) a day or two ago in the writing forum along with the original link from this post (before being moderated into invisibility) so yes - same IP (by default).

Fishy... compelling evidence. Me thinks a warning is in order. The article, though, appears relevant.

The article is basically a good demonstration of WHY you should always follow up. That's about it. Their own stupidity appears to be the main fault, not PAX's.

In time the project grows, the ignorance of its devs it shows, with many a convoluted function, it plunges into deep compunction, the price of failure is high, Washu's mirth is nigh.
