I have always been a fan of CryEngine because to me the learning curve and UI has always been easier to work with. Plus it's the game engine I have been using for years now. UDK has its advantages as well, and now that Unreal Engine 4 is out I'm looking forward to learning more about it.
One thing I noticed at a glance was that it included some rigging and animating tools where you can create animations without a 3D model. I thought that was cool.
Anyways has anybody used UE4 yet? What do you think about it?
Excited about Unreal Engine 4!
I've been using it for around two years. I'm a big fan of the blueprint scripting system, which I find is fantastic for rapid iteration of game mechanics :)
