There's no hint as to when Surface Pro 2 is coming, other than the fact that Microsoft didn't deliver them on the expected arrival date of 10/22/2013 here.

I'm not in US, so Surface Pro 2 isn't really available here. Curious link for those uninitiated.

And no one here is breaking the ice on the info and stuff. All I get on Google are old articles reporting/reviewing the 1st-gen Surface Pro.

Sigh.

Seems Amazon.co.uk has it.

Amazon.cn (China) has it.

What country are you in?

From the site he linked, Taiwan(?) It sounds like he wants to try one in person before buying one though. That might be tough until stores near him stock it.

I want to BUY one. biggrin.png

I don't have Paypal. Heard a lot of shitstorms around that company, saying it's on par with EA, the gaming industry's equivalent.

Amazon.jp has it. Do you know anyone you really trust in Japan who happens to be visiting Taiwan (perhaps on business)?

I'm not sure whether Taiwan would charge import fees if a unopened $1000 laptop is brought through customs... How badly do you want one? mellow.png

Alas, Amazon.com's global shipping shop doesn't have the Surface available.

having a paypal account is no worse than giving out your credit card to any random website, as you'd have to do otherwise.

i typically use my paypal as a prepaid solution, with no credit card registered there. i can just fill it up with money and then pay trough that. never had any problems with it yet, anyways. shitstorms are typically overblown, anyways.

If that's not the help you're after then you're going to have to explain the problem better than what you have. - joanusdmentia

Paypal has a bad reputation when you are receiving money (merchant accounts being shut down, and so on), but I haven't heard of much problems using it to pay money. Especially when you are using it to pay money to Ebay, which is the owner of Paypal.

No one.

Not too badly right now. Since I need to pay off recent debts, currently, I don't have the budget.

It looks like I am going to have to wait. I need a few more paychecks to get back to where I was.
